Curriculum

We have a play-based child-led emergent curriculum underpinned by Aistear and Siolta. This curriculum allows children to develop and learn through their chosen interests, which are supported by the team of Early Years Educators. We do this by observing and recording children’s interests and developing our curriculum to support these.

Children have access to a large outdoor garden which is an extension of the indoor playrooms. During outdoor play we support children’s developing interests and introduce outdoor games and activities as part of our outdoor curriculum. Children can also engage in a variety of different types of play from bikes and trikes, sand, water, imaginative play, construction, and much more.

We also have a state-of-the-art Sensory room located just off the garden to meet children’s needs for sensory breaks or to facilitate one to one time with Early Years Educators. Time in the sensory room can be spent working with the children on their learning goals, decompressing, or supporting the children’s developmental needs.
